‘Object thrown at moving bus’
A MAN allegedly threw items at a car, a moving bus and out of a secondfloor window.
Stephen Brisbane, 31, of Dens Road, will stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Brisbane denies culpably, recklessly and with utter disregard of the consequences, throwing a bin and furniture items from the second floor of a flat on to the ground below, to the danger of people there — particularly pedestrians on the ground below.
The offence allegedly took place on October 11 at a property in Strathmartine Road.
He also denies wilfully or recklessly damaging the property of another by throwing a road sign at a car, causing damage to the car, at Courthouse Square on October 27.
And he denies again culpably, recklessly and with utter disregard of the consequences, throwing an unknown object at a moving bus, to the danger of people within the bus, at the same location and on the same date.
Trial is set to take place on December 1, with an intermediate diet to be held on November 17.
MARTIN Gallacher, 42, of Dunholm Road, will stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of assault.
Gallacher denies assaulting Brogan Smith by striking her on the body with a phone, by throwing it at her, at a property in Dunholm Road on July 24.
Trial takes place on February 1, with an intermediate d i e t on January 10.
