Scotland looking to strike back

SCOTLAND Ladies are in a three-match series against Ireland. They lost 2-0 on Sunday at Clydesdale. The next two games are at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre tonight at 5pm and tomorrow at noon.

On Saturday in the men’s National Hockey League One, Grove-Menzieshill have no game.

In Division Two, MJV Dundee Wanderers play Glasgow University (Dalnacraig 2pm).

St Andrews University host Falkirk and Dundee University visit leaders Inverleith. Harris FP have a week off.

Division Three includes Perthshire v Erskine SM while Monarchs visit Highland.

Menzieshill II also have a rest day on Saturday from Regional Two but travel to play Rottenrow II on Sunday. A win would give the ’Hill top spot.

In Ladies Division One, it’s Grove-Menzieshill v MJV Dundee Wanderers (DISC, 2.30) on Saturday. Division Two includes Merlins Gordonians v Dundee University on Wednesday evening and, on Saturday, Grange v St Andrews University and Dundee University v Granite City Wanderers (Riverside, 3pm).

In Championship A, Grove II visit Edinburgh University II. In B Division, Dundee University II visit Uddingston, St Andrews University host Watsonians A and Perthshire visit Grange II.

On Sunday in the men’s Scottish Cup, Menzieshill should beat hosts Granite City Wanderers. MJV Dundee Wanderers could defeat Edinburgh University at Peffermill while Monarchs host Bromac Kelburne (Dalnacraig 3pm).

In the men’s District Plate, Wanderers II host Falkirk II (Dalnacraig, 1.30) with a home win on the cards. Perthshire II host Highland II.

In the men’s Reserve Cup, Wanderers III visit Clydesdale III.

In the Ladies Scottish Cup, Grove-Menzieshill host Western Wildcats (DISC 2.30) with a home win likely. MJV Dundee Wanderers visit Western Wildcats.

Grove II are away to Aberdeen University and Dundee University 1 host Merlin Gordonians in the Scottish Plate. Madras Ladies are on their travels to Edinburgh University IV.
