Festive fun at the Fort Hotel

-

CHRISTMAS is starting early at the Fort Hotel this year with the venue’s festive lights being switched on next Wednesday at 7pm for 7.30pm.

The Fort’s brand new state-of-the-art LED light display will stretch almost the length of Fort Street.

It will see three buildings wrapped up as “presents” with the main hotel building draped in LED garlands.

The Fort’s very own “Oot on the Toon” Our Wullie will be there in festive spirit.

The Christmas menu will be available from Thursday December 1 and will run alongside the main menu.

Why not hold your Christmas party in the privacy of the Fort’s Italian restaurant, Borgotaro?

Please ask about the option of booking your meal and staying on with VIP status until 2am.

The Fort has the full range of drinks available — wines, champagnes, lagers, beers/craft, spirits, ciders, cocktails and an amazing selection of malts and whiskies.

And look at the entertainment lined up for December!

The Fort is the only Ferry venue which will be open until 2am seven nights a week throughout the month.

So it’s perfect for party nights with a designated dancefloor, DJ booth and state-of-the-art lighting.

DJs are booked for every Friday and Saturday night, with karaoke and live music included in the December programme.

Extra staff will be employed both on the door and at the bar throughout the month.

If you are lucky enough to look under 25 please bring two forms of ID as you will be asked for it!

The biggest nights are going to being Christmas Eve and Hogmanay so come early to avoid disappointment.

The usual mandatory admission rules will apply, with the 12.30am deadline for last entry on Friday and Saturday nights being strictly enforced.

Why worry about transport? Stay the night!

The newly-refurbished rooms are on special rate throughout December at only £80 per night for a double or a twin and £50 for a single, all based on bed and breakfast.

The Fort Hotel will be open on Christmas Day for drinks only from 11am-3pm and 7.30pm-2am.

On New Year’s Day, the hotel is open for drinks only from 11am-5pm (closed at night).

Everyone at the Fort Hotel would like to take this opportunity to wish old friends and those they’ve yet to meet a safe and enjoyable festive season — wherever you decide to party!
