Buchan is added to Bluebells pool

-

LOCHEE United entertain fellow-Super League outfit Musselburgh in the Scottish Cup tomorrow.

The pair fought out a 1-1 draw in the league earlier in the season but, after last week’s fine performance against Penicuik, the Bluebells will fancy their chances of advancing.

Lochee have a full squad to choose from but there has been a flurry of comings and goings from Thomson Park in the last week. Lee Cameron and Paul Blackwood (see below) have gone out on loan deals to Forfar WE and Harp respectively, while Marc Percy has made a permanent move to Downfield.

Meanwhile, the Bluebells have added striker Kevin Buchan on a loan deal from Cove Rangers.

One player definitely staying at Thomson Park, however, is Philip Hagan who is not up for transfer, contrary to earlier reports.

There is an intriguing local derby at Downfield Park where Broughty Athletic are the visitors.

The Spiders list a full-strength pool apart from Jack Neave, who is suspended.

The Fed could still be without Brian Clark and James Collier. Both are back in full training but Saturday may be too early for them.

Elsewhere, Tayport can’t afford to slip up against Armadale if they are to keep their promotion hopes on track when they meet in the Premier League atThe Canniepairt.

A win over the second-bottom club is vital if they are to avoid letting the gap widen between themselves and the top clubs.

Jamie Mackie is suspended while Scott McDowell misses the match through injury.

Forfar West End, after their outstanding win at Sauchie, are at home to Bathgate. Ally Braid, Graeme Hart and Ali Smith return to the West End squad. Player/boss Daryl McKenzie is still injured.

St Andrews United face a tricky Fife derby as new manager Craig Morrison, attempts to get his troops back on track against a Glenrothes side that have not won a league game away from home since April.
