O’Hara needing more time out

-

TOMORROW’S ICT game will come too early for Dundee midfielder Mark O’Hara, who returned to action for the Development Squad this week.

Manager Paul Hartley feels the player needs some more time on the training pitch as well as game time before he will be considered for the first team.

“Mark is still a week away. He won’t be in the squad for tomorrow as he needs a few more sessions in training and will play in a game next Tuesday,” said Paul.

Also not available for the home game this weekend will be Nicky Low, who took part in the game on Tuesday but isn’t deemed fit enough to be in the squad.

Yordi Teijsse, who scored twice for the youngsters in midweek, is a doubt for tomorrow after picking up a knock and it is a case of waiting to see if it clears up.

“Yordi took a knock and we’ll see how he is,” added Paul.

Michael Duffy looks likely to retain his slot on the bench after being off ill all week, which leaves longterm injury victim James McPake the only Dee not able to play for the foreseeable future.

The manager is impressed, though, with the d e f e n d e r ’s return to training.

“We’re really pleased with Jazza. He’s training hard but we’re giving him time.

“We’ll be patient with him and his progress but we are happy with the way everything i s going j ust now.

“It’s been a lot of hard work for him.”
