Taxi Club are driven to loss by brilliant Barca

PREMIER Division Barca FC shocked everyone at the Soccersixe­s Thursday League, held at The GA Engineerin­g Arena, with a 4-0 win over second-placed Taxi Club.

Jamie Malone struck twice with Dillion Robb and Stephen Ramsay also on target to give them a lifeline.

Flot FC are top following their 13-0 win over fifth-placed Sit Down Son.

Ardler hold onto third place with a 15-2 win against MCFC. Kieron Gardiner was in fine form with a fourgoal haul for Ardler. Mikey Craib, Darren Holt and Alex Gibb also chipped in with a hat-trick each. Allan Drummond also added to the drubbing.

Troop top the Championsh­ip division after a record 18-1 win against bottomof-the-table Bayern Bru.

A hat-trick each for Ritchie Walls, Daniel Finnegan, Liam Egan, Frank Bertie, Steven Robertson and Jamie Haxton gave Troop a record win.

Born Toulouse picked up their first win for several weeks, despatchin­g Dundee 6ers 7-3 to move above them in the standings. Fraser Crowe and Nick Forbes both scored a brace for Toulouse.

Connor Grieve, Steven Grieve and David Arrenberg were also on target for third-placed Toulouse. Scott Honeyman netted a hat-trick in reply.

Harambe maintained their lead at the top of League One with a 3-1 win over Kirkton Elite, Jack Dempster, with a brace, and Elliot Shaw also scored to put the league leaders four points clear.

Dundee Hotspur and United were involved in a thriller in Sunday’s games, also at the GA Engineerin­g Arena.

The two locked horns in Division One and it didn’t disappoint, the game ending 8-8. Nathan Scott was on fire for Hotspur with a double hat-trick while Nicholas Scott and Robbie Stewart netted the others.

Hard Eddies remain top of the table after a cracking 6-5 win against Stevie’s Misfits. James Russell scored a hat-trick to set Eddies en route to victory. Derek Lomas, Kris Domeracki and Robert Smith also chipped in for the winners.

Mid-table Wakaroonda­ya suffered another defeat and are now well off the pace. They went down 5-3 to the much improved Barca FC. Bobby Culley (2) and Ryan Anderson scored for Wakaroonda­ya.

Rolls Reus suffered their first defeat of the season as they dropped to sixth place. Hardly Athletic beat them, Cameron Marshall bagging a brace and Lee Duddridge and Andrew Edward also chipping in.

A goal each for Gregor Folan, Lewis Coutts, Kieran McWilliam and Lewis Harrington wasn’t enough to stop Kebabdoul suffering their 10th defeat of the season as they lost 7-4 to fourthplac­ed We Welcome The Chase.

In Division Three, Broughty CYT were beaten for the first time this season, losing to Walkers Giants. Daniel Walker struck four times for his team and Mark Walker notched a brace. CYT replied through Lewis Hoskins and Lews Dulley.

Lads On Toure are still trying to stay in touch in third following a 13-2 win over Exeter. Conor Donaghey was on fire as he struck eight times for Toure. Matthew Dean (2), Sean Mead (2) and Aidan McAnish were also on target.

We Arbeloa Lot Of Teams picked up their first win of the season in Division Four with a 6-3 win against bottom side Dundee Clippers. Alistair Fordyce, Arran Macphee, Peter Elliot and Peter Nowak were on target for Arbeloa.
