Shipbuilders are in decent shape

-

IN the North League, East Craigie and Harp are hoping to get back in action against Forfar Albion and Arbroath Vics respectively.

The Shipbuilders name a full-strength pool for the trip to Forfar, while Harp are hoping new signings Lee Gallagher and Paul Blackwood can at long last make their Beechwood debuts against Vics.

Manager Michael Gormley will, however, still be without long-term injury victims Ryan McKillen, Joe Colquhoun and James Cochrane.

Vics will be without Kyle Findlater and Lee Jones.

Coupar Angus are at home to league leaders Blairgowrie.

Coupar have signed striker Daryl Howe, who showed up well in their recent friendlies.

Blair manager Billy Mackay, who could also have a new signing on show, will have Gary Axworthy and Gordon Pirie back.

Still sidelined with injuries are Danny Millar and Greg McDonald.

Kinnoull’s game against Brechin Vics has been switched to Tulloch Park.

The Perth men expect to be on their usual lines, while Vics will be without Blair Stephen, Scott Ferries and Paul Tosh.

The weather has been far from kind to Paul Martin’s Newburgh but the prospects are good for this weekend’s visit of Scone Thistle to East Shore Park. Martin has a full squad available for the clash that will see ’Burgh looking to put right their last result, a 3-2 home defeat to Arbroath Vics.

Scone will be without the injured Gary Fergus. Scott Lafferty returns.

TAYPORT are the odd team out in the Premier League this week but have arranged to play a friendly against Oakley.

The Canniepairt side will still be without Scott McDowell and Sergio Alvarez, who are sidelined with injuries.
