A day to remember for Dayle the Doken

IN the North League, North End made a winning start to the year when they comfortably beat bottom club Lochore 3-0 with Dayle Robertson bagging all three goals.

Kinnoull had the best of the first half in their clash with East Craigie and deserved to go in at the at break 1-0 up, Robbie Norrie was their scorer.

However, two quickfire goals by Nik Mann had the Shipbuilders in front after the break and it took a Kieran Donald strike eight minutes from time to level matters.

Lochee Harp and Coupar Angus produced a feast of goals, with the Foxhall club prevailing i n a seven-goal thriller.

Kirrie Thistle had to come from behind after Richard Doig had given Luncarty the lead at Westview Park.

But it was a comfortable victory eventually for promotionchasing Thistle, winning 6-3.

Darren Scott, Adam O’Connor, Stewart Russell and Bryan Duell were on the scoresheet alongside two own goals for the Angus men.
