Club woman, 48 ‘assaulted cops’

A 48-YEAR-OLD woman allegedly refused to leave a Dundee nightclub then shouted and swore outside on the street and assaulted t wo police officers.

Elizabeth Bulloch, of Drumlanrig Drive, will stand trial on March 23 at the sheriff court.

Bulloch denies behaving in a disorderly manner and refusing to leave Yuppies nightclub, Seagate, after being asked to do so by security supervisor John McPhee, on October 22.

She denies thereafter shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence at Seagate.

Bulloch further denies resisting two police officers — PC Claire James and PC Craig Knight — on the same street.

She also denies assaulting PC James by attempting to bite her and scratching her on the body and she denies assaulting PC Knight by scratching him on the body.

Bulloch denies another charge of assaulting police custody and security officer Sam Hogg by throwing a boot at her and striking her on the body, at police headquarte­rs, West Bell Street.

Co-accused Siobhan Scott, 32, of Pitkerro Road, will also stand trial on March 23.

She denies shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and resisting the same two police officers at Seagate on the same date.

An intermedia­te diet for both accused will be held on March 7.
