CC back in Harp pool for Davie Park trip

-

IN the North League, Connaire Connelly will return to the Lochee Harp pool for the trip to Blairgowrie. The former Tayport player missed last week’s cup-tie at Kirrie.

The Beechwood side will be hoping to bounce back after their GA Cup defeat at Kirrie but will be without the suspended Derryn Kesson.

For Blair, Mark Brash’s dislocated shoulder means he is likely to be out for the rest of the season but Gordon Pirie and Paul Maloney return.

Despite last week’s defeat from Violet in the GA Cup, East Craigie’s confidence was in no way diminished and they are ready for the visit of Brechin Vics.

The Shipbuilders felt they gave as good as they got at Glenesk and, with a full pool available, are confident they can pick up three points.

Vics are without David Steele, Ryan Young and Colin Lawson.

Without a win in six outings, Newburgh boss Paul Martin is looking for his side to end that run at bottom-dogs Lochore, who have only taken one point from nine home games.

New North End manager Ross Lunan takes charge for his first cup game when the Dokens play host to Crossgates in the East of Scotland Cup.

Lunan got off to the perfect start with a 5-2 league win at Newburgh last week and he will be looking for a Fife double against Crossgates, who sit third bottom of the South League.
