Best-Dressed Lady at races to get £2k from Gok

-

CELEBRITY style guru Gok Wan is heading to Perth Racecourse to cast his eye over the smartly attired ladies.

The racecourse’s Ladies Day on Thursday May 18 is always a glamorous affair but things are sure to heat up with a £2,000 prize up for grabs for the Best-Dressed Lady.

Gok will be choosing the race-goer with the best fashion credentials and awarding her with the top prize on stage.

And it’s not just the ladies who’ll be awarded for their style success — there will also be prizes for the Best-Dressed Male and for Best Hat.

This is Gok’s second trip to Tayside after previously sharing his industry secrets as part of his Fashion Brunch Club at Dundee’s Apex Hotel last month.

VIP Ladies Day Experience guests will also be able to enjoy the same tips, as well as a two-course lunch and a glass of fizz on arrival.

Gok gained national success through Channel 4 TV shows Gok’s Fashion Fix, Gok’s Clothes Roadshow, and the How To Look Good Naked series.

As well as the jump racing from 2pm, race-goers can enjoy a selection of food and drink options, as well as take in live music and entertainment on the main stage.

Hazel Peplinksi, chief executive at Perth Racecourse said: “Our Ladies Day crowd go all out in the style stakes, so I’m sure Gok will find it a tough task when it comes to choosing a winner. We’ve got a brilliant day of racing and entertainment planned and tickets are selling fast.”

Ladies grandstand tickets are available at £25 and there still a few VIP tickets available for Gok’s Fashion Brunch Club, priced from £130.
