Pleased with convenience

I LIVE in Carnoustie and was one of the people who expressed disappointment when the local postal sorting office was closed.

I arrived home from work the other day to find a card saying a “signed for” package had failed to be delivered and was to be collected.

The card explained the package was being held in the post office in our local Spar and had opening hours of 7am to 9pm.

I still am sorry to see local offices close and people be put out of work, but must confess I was happy to see these convenient hours.
