Too many misses for Lennon
NEIL Lennon saw the best and worst of his Hibernian team as they fought back twice to draw 2-2 at home to Dumbarton on Saturday.
The Sons were twice ahead through a Christian Nade penalty and a goal from Robert Thomson but Daniel Harvie’s own goal and a Martin Boyle counter earned the league leaders a point, with James Keatings having a penalty saved.
Lennon said: “The first half was unacceptable.
“Too many touches, we got sucked into the way Dumbarton wanted to play.
“The second half was great but we missed so many easy chances.
“We missed a penalty and the players have to look at their approach to games.”
Jim Duffy’s Mor ton moved level on points with second-placed Falkirk after winning 1-0 away to the Bairns.
Kudus Oyenuga scored the only goal of a hardfought match.
Ayr United beat Dunfermline 1-0 at East End Park with a Ross Docherty goal to boost their survival hopes while St Mirren won their fourth league games in six with a 2-0 victory over Queen of the South.
