Open day invitation to patients
LOCHEE Health Centre is holding an open day tomorrow and all registered patients are invited to visit between 11am and 1pm.
A range of improvements to services has been put in place recently and staff will be available to explain the changes.
Patients will be able to meet members of the healthcare team including GPs, nursing and administrative staff.
Dr Salahuddin Malik said: “Lochee Health Centre has undergone many changes over the past year and we would like to thank our patients for their patience and understanding.
“This open day has been arranged for registered patients to find out more and understand how they can contribute to the safe and efficient running of the centre.
“It will also be an opportunity for registered patients to find out how they can obtain help when the centre is closed.
“Our aim is to provide personalised care and work in partnership with our patients to enable them to have a happier, healthier and longer life.”
There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the new Patient Participation Group.
Representatives will be on hand to chat about the role of the group and explain how to get involved.
The group is made up of registered patients who help to shape services and provide important feedback direct to the healthcare team.
Members of the public should be aware no appointments or prescriptions will be booked or collected during the open day.
