SIX people appeared at Dundee charged in connection with raids that recovered drugs worth an estimated £150,000.

Two women and four men appeared in private before a sheriff in connection with a major drugs find after officers from Police Scotland raided several properties across the city.

Patricia Leona Anderson, 29, made no plea or declaration to two charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Theresa Decruz, 58, made no plea or declaration to one charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Both women, who gave addresses in Dundee, were committed for further examination and released on bail.

Jeffrey Rowe-Carlisle, 54, made no plea or declaration to one charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

All four men, who gave addresses in Dundee, were committed for further examination and were released on bail.

Police Scotland has made a concerted effort to reduce drugrelated crime in the city after receiving feedback from members of the community.

Inspector Peter McLennan, of Dundee Local Policing Area, said: “You have told us that drug-related crime is a concern — we are listening and we are focused on disrupting criminality, reducing the harm it causes and arresting those concerned in the supply of drugs.”

“If you have information that could assist us, I encourage you to contact us on 101.”
