Kirrie can take a step towards title

-

NORTH League leaders Kirrie Thistle are likely to take a step closer to promotion at home to Brechin Vics.

The same squad that demolished Lochore last week are available again.

Visiting Vics are without unavailable pair Barry Gourlay and Scott Ferguson.

Both Luncarty and Kinnoull, who meet at Brownlands Park, are looking to preserve lengthy unbeaten runs,

Luncarty’s Ross Mitchell is a doubt with a hamstring problem, while Stuart Nicol and Bally Whytock are definite non-starters.

Liam Woolley returns for Kinnoull but Mark McDonald again misses out through injury.

Scone Thistle welcome Arbroath Vics and it would be a surprise if the visitors were to upset the odds.

Thistle are boosted by Fraser McDonald and Gary Mackie returning but Max Avolio is a doubt.

Arbroath Vics were idle last week so have no fresh injuries.

Coupar Angus head to Thornton Hibs and manager Logan McConachie, disappointed with last week’s performance, is pondering changes.

However, Nathan Ireland and Dylan Cook are unavailable for what will be a testing afternoon against the joint leaders.

Blairgowrie will be expected to arrest their poor recent run of results away to bottom-of-the-table Forfar Albion.

They are also boosted by the arrival of striker Gordon Norrie from Kinnoull after showing up well on his debut last week.
