Harp unstrung by late Craigie goal

IN the North League, East Craigie were made to work hard for their home win over Lochee Harp.

A Paul Moran goal after 12 minutes put the visitors ahead. Nik Mann levelled with a free-kick from the edge of the box just before the break which followed Brad Miller being sent off in conceding the award.

And the Shipbuilders were relieved to get the winner, Liam McArtney netting five minutes from time.

North End were rarely troubled by Lochore and fully deserved their 3-0 win over the Fifers.

Seventeen-year-old Ryan Smith tapped in the opener.

The Dokens stretched their lead courtesy of a Dayle Robertson penalty then the same player added a third to seal the points.

Arbroath Vics had a terrific 3-2 win at SconeThistle with all the goals coming in the second half. CharlieWilson and Josh Chalmers putVics two up. Fraser Mills pulled one back but Wilson restored Vics’ two-goal advantage. Abi Njie did net a penalty for the hosts but proved too little too late.

KirrieThistle’s relentless march towards promotion continued with a home 7-0 drubbing of Brechin Vics.
