Shipbuilders keen to extend fine run

-

EAST Craigie are determined to extend their unbeaten run with a home win over Luncarty.

The Shipbuilders may be outsiders in the promotion race but they haven’t give up hope and are ready to take advantage of any slip-ups by the teams above.

Craigie have a full pool available and will hope to go one better than the goalless draw when they last met their opponents.

The Bleachers’ only doubt is Darren Kelly whose ankle injury makes him 50/50.

After their stunning win at Scone, Arbroath Vics hope to claim an even bigger scalp when joint league leaders Thornton Hibs are their guests.

But the Fifers have been beaten just once on the road and Vics are still without Lee Jones, Scott Donald and Connor Gray.

Kinnoull, who meet Coupar Angus at Tulloch Park, are without injured duo Mark McDonald and Tom Whyte. For the visitors, Joe Sturrock is doubtful with a foot injury while Nathan Ireland (injured) and John Casey (unavailable) miss out.

Newburgh will be eyeing their trip to lowly Lochore as a chance of posting their first win of the year.

However, it is only three weeks since the Fifers were winners at Brechin Vics, so they cannot be treated lightly.

Brechin Vics host bottom-of-the-table Forfar Albion. Though only goal difference separates them, Vics have a couple of games in hand.

Long-term casualty Sam Wood is absent from the home squad.
