Call for poop scoop pics

WOULD it not be great if Dundee City Council tries what Mayor Joe Anderson of Liverpool wants to do?

He is asking if anyone sees someone not picking up after their dogs that they report it and provide evidence to the city council of the culprits failing to poop scoop in the form of photographs or video.

The owner gets fined the same amount as they pay in council tax and whoever provides the evidence will get a year’s free council tax.

That way the fine would offset the reward.

If this was put into play then maybe Finlarig Terrace would be a bit cleaner, as the dog wardens’ approach to this matter is clearly not working.
