Easter BBQ brings togetherness

-

PERTH Church of the Nazarene held an Easter barbecue in the grounds of their sanctuary.

The event was organised by the church’s Man Alive group. Around 350 attended and enjoyed the food which was served up.

The event took place just after a service at which the minister, the Rev Jim Ritchie, was the speaker.

During the service, Easter eggs were handed out to the congregation.

Normally, the congregation go to Callander, Dunkeld or Aviemore for their Easter day out but this year they decided to hold the function within the confines of the church premises.

People of all ages attended and many stayed on to enjoy another Easter service.

The church’s ministry reaches out to people of all ages with weekly activities for toddlers, school age children, young adults and senior citizens plus home Bible study groups and meetings for the Man Alive and Women Connect groups.
