Vincent Quinn, head barber at Hard Grind Dundee, fought off tough competition to lift the Scotland’s Best Barber 2017 trophy at the Scottish Hair and Beauty show on April 23.
The barber i mpressed the industry-recognised j udging panel with his captivating stage presence and slick styling skills.
Vincent said: “I was up against some really tough competition, but I’m ecstatic that my performance was enough to impress the judges and the crowd.”

The Exchange Street barber’s cut was a huge hit with the judges, who admired its precision and the story that Vincent gave to it.
The Great British Barber Academy’s head educator, Mike Taylor, even labelled it as “an exceptional example of the incredibly high standards of Scottish barbering”.
Vincent has received an impressive list of prizes that will help him to continue to practice the barbering trade.
He took home £500 of professional hair and grooming products, an £850 Kensington barber chair, barbering scissors and a double-page feature in, and a subscription to, trade magazine Barber NV.
