The Dokens will be bidding to reach their second final in the competition, having made the ultimate stage in 2011 only to lose 2-0 to Newtongrange.

Both sides reached the last four by virtue of penalty shootout wins in their respective quarter-final ties.

Tranent beat Super League side Broxburn last week after it finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.

The Dokens’ tie at Whitburn also finished 2-2. Ross Lunan’s side ended the game with nine men after two red cards but they also prevailed in the penalty shootout.

Downfield, meanwhile, head to The Canniepairt to face Tayport, who will be winding up their league season.

The Spiders will be without t he suspended Jordan Timmons and the injured duo of Mark Bannon and Craig Smith.

Forfar West End boss Daryl McKenzie has been keeping his side in shape for the upcoming play-offs.

The Strathmore Park side, who will meet the team who finishes third bottom of the Super League, have played a couple of friendlies, the latest of which was against Tayport, which ended all square at 3-3.
