In court over ‘stabbing’

A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing at a Dundee pub.

Police were called to the Cutty Sark in Mid Craigie at about 9.45pm on Sunday May 7. A 32-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital after allegedly being stabbed at the pub.

Police Scotland said a 40-year-old man was due to appear at court today in connection with the incident.

The spokeswoman said a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Residents who live near the pub told at the time of their shock at seeing emergency services swarm the area following the incident.
