Daniella’s gruelling challenge
AN Angus mum is undertaking a gruelling challenge for local groups that have helped her son.
Daniella Paesano hopes to raise £2,000 for a barefoot sensory path and resources for Carlogie Primary School and Carlogie Fun Club i n Carnoustie.
Both have helped her son Matteo who has sensory process disorder (SPD), which causes difficulty for the brain in processing information.
Daniella will take on the local leg of the RBS Kilt Walk on August 20 — the “mighty stride” between St Andrews and Monifieth beach.
She said: “I’m trying to raise funds and awareness for children with SPD, something my fiveyear-old son Matteo struggles with daily.
“Without the help and support of Carlogie Primary and the fun club I would have never been able to return to my job at the John Clark Motor Group.
“I would love to be able to raise £2,000 so a sensory path and resources can be purchased.”
