BRECHIN manager Darren Dods admits he was thrilled to deliver promotion after praising t he board f or sticking by him during the dark days last season.

The former Dundee United and St Johnstone defender mastermind­ed the part-timers’ return to the Championsh­ip with a weekend penalty shoot-out victory over Alloa in the play-off finals.
