Dryburgh register huge win to stay in command
DRYBURGH Athletic Girls had another great weekend.
The U/10s and U/11s had a super time at the SFA East U/11s festival at Charlotte Street, Dundee, and great credit goes to Dundee West for hosting this mini-tournament.
Dryburgh 13s stay top of their league after a fine 9-0 win at home to Kirrie Kickers with Kiah Irvine, Calle Paton, Morgan Airlie, Abigael Lindsay, Rosie

ARBROATH LADIES Pople, Hannah Marsh and Natasha Keir their scorers.
The 17s won 5-1 away to Raith with Nyla Murphy opening the scoring midway through the first half only to see Raith equalise just before the break.
Murphy then fired in two second-half goals to complete a fantastic hat-trick.
She wasn’t to be outdone, though, as the other two Dryburgh counters were top-drawer finishes.
The fourth goal came from Amy Reilly who had made a great run wide right to receive a terrific through ball from Keira Flynn.
Amy steadied herself before firing over the Raith keeper from 25 yards.
If that goal was worthy of winning any game, the next was just as good, if not better, from Faith McConnell as she notched an absolute beauty.
Raith tried in vain to clear a ’Burgh corner and managed to scramble the ball out to the edge of the box only for it to be met by McConnell on the halfvolley. She curled a wonderful finish into the top-right corner of the net.
Faith thoroughly deserved her goal after working hard in training to improve her finishing.
It was a very good second-half performance from Dryburgh that saw them climb to second in the league.
