Opportunity for tenants to share views

-

ALL Perth and Kinross Council housing tenants are invited to attend the annual Tenant Conference 2017 on Thursday June 29.

The event will be held at the Dewar’s Centre, Perth, from 6pm-8.30pm.

Tenants will be given feedback on the results of the recent tenant satisfaction survey and can share with senior managers their priorities on how their rent money should be spent.

There will be a range of stalls at the event with information on health, housing, tenant participation, locality and community services, as well as information on welfare reform support.

The Citizens’ Advice Bureau Perth and Perth and Kinross Credit Union will also be on hand to offer advice.

Children’s activities will be available and refreshments will be provided. Every tenant who attends will be entered into a free prize draw.

Housing and communities convener Councillor Peter Barrett said: “Tenants have a vital role to play in helping shape the services we provide for them and their opinions are very important to us.

“The conference is a chance for tenants to make a positive input into the way their local housing services are run and how we invest the money we receive from their rents.”
