NHS Tayside volunteers attended a reception at The Steeple in Dundee where they were welcomed by NHS Tayside chairman Professor John Connell.

Professor Connell thanked all the volunteers for their contributions and for t aking t he ti me t o become involved in the health service in Tayside, before presenting awards to those with five, 10 and 15 years’ volunteer service. He also presented special awards to three volunteers who have each given 20 years of service.

Professor Connell said: “NHS Tayside is extremely privileged to have the support of so many dedicated volunteers from a range of backgrounds who bring their individual talents and skills.
