Dog attack on girl,10

A MAN whose dog lunged at a 10-year-old girl and bit her on the body was ordered to pay £300 compensation to the victim’s family.

Bruce Rourke, 57, of William Street, Tayport, was also fined £100 at Dundee Sheriff Court after admitting one charge against him.

Rourke admitted having a dangerously out of control dog, namely a collie, which lunged at a child and bit her on the body, at Scotmid, Castle Street, Tayport, Fife, on January 5.
