Charge of stamping
WILLIAM McLennan, 29, will stand trial on July 3 at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with assault to severe injury.
McLennan denies assaulting Daniel Cahill by repeatedly punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground, seizing him by the clothing, placing him in a headlock, repeatedly stamping on his head and placing his hands around his neck, restricting his breathing, all to his severe injury, at Elders Court, on December 5 last year.
