Support group’s conference
DUNDEE and Angus ADHD Support Group hosted its annual conference in the Steeple.
About 120 delegates from across the UK visited Dundee f or t he event, which explored attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The Dundee and Angus ADHD Support Group is based in Stobswell.
The keynote speaker was Phil Asherson, professor in molecular psychiatry at King’s College London.
Professor Asherson recently featured in the BBC Horizon programme in which comedian Rory Bremner was diagnosed with t he neurological condition.
Project manager Alison Zerouk said: “We currently support 50 families across Dundee and Angus, and being able to provide a conference locally allows the professionals who work with them and their children on a daily basis to improve their knowledge on t he condition and therefore further support their clients.”
