Spiders will host four-team event

DOWNFIELD will host a tournament next month as part of their pre-season build-up.

Along with the Spiders, fellow-junior outfit Lochee Harp, current Midlands amateur Premier League champions Menzieshill AFC and Bank Street Athletic, who will play in the Dundee Saturday Morning Association next season, will be involved.

The first set of games take place on Saturday, July 22, with Bank Street Athletic v Lochee Harp (12.15) and Downfield v Menzieshill AFC (3pm).

The third/fourth place play-off and final go ahead on Sunday, July 23.
