Some special late announcements...

-

EVERYTHING’S pretty much in place for Broughty Ferry Gala Week 2017 but here’s a few special late announcements.

Note that the annual Gala Bingo takes place at St Stephen’s and West Church Hall in Brook Street on Wednesday July 5 at 7.30pm.

This is a great night with brilliant prizes, so don’t miss out.

The Gala Week organisers have got their hands on some fantastic fun character costumes which are guaranteed to bring added impact to many of the week’s events.

However, there is one small catch — they don’t yet have enough people to wear all of them.

So, if you want to be a member of the Paw Patrol, or perhaps a mischievous Minion, please give Steve a call on 077931 61011.

The costumes are designed for adults or older teenagers so, if you’ve got some time on your hands and want to join in the fun, just let Steve know.

The legendary Children’s Window Guessing Competition is running again and a whopping 78 separate traders are taking part this time.

All are members of the Broughty Ferry Traders’ Association and each shop will have one particular item in its window that it does not usually sell.

For example, in a baker’s window you may see paint brush, or in a newsagent there could be a screwdriver. All you have to do is find it. The game is aimed at under-14s and there are cash prices for the sharp-eyed kids who take part.
