Don’t judge book by cover
OVER the years there has been much debate over the issue of homelessness, people with drug and drink problems and soaring suicide rates in and around the Dundee area.
Today I witnessed a young lad suffering a panic attack at the bus stop. I asked if he wanted me to sit next to him on the bus and took him for a coffee in town. He gradually looked calmer and even laughed a little.
He shared some personal details and it became apparent he was going through a tough time including the loss of loved ones and homelessness as well as illness and malnutrition.
Can I ask that before we pass judgment, perhaps, we should read a bit more of the book first?
