Celebratory weekend
TO mark the refurbishment of the 140-year-old Perth Methodist Church, a celebratory thanksgiving event is to coincide with Perth’s Open Doors Weekend.
On Saturday, at the Scott Street church between 10am4pm, there will be coffee, soup lunches, a bouncy castle and quizzes/games for the children, as well as displays of the church’s heritage and the refurbishment process.
On Sunday, all are welcome to a service of celebration and rededication, followed by a buffet lunch.The refurbishment was carried out with financial contributions from 15 trusts, many areas of Methodism and church members.
