Evening Telegraph (First Edition)
What happened to good manners?
HOW sad to hear of the Dundee wheelchair user who says he couldn’t board a bus because two mums with prams refused to get out of the wheelchair section.
George Craig, 74, who worked in the mills, deserves so much more.
We’re not the first generation to have kids.
Women have lugged buggies before us and yet I can’t think previous generations would have had the audacity to put their needs before that of a disabled person.
And if they did, they’d have been pulled up about it by bystanders.
It’s a privilege to have a child. It’s an entitlement to have one if you can.
But it is not an entitlement to think you can do as you please.
Or to forget about human decency and manners.
