Bowman to quit breakfast show

EDITH Bowman has revealed she is stepping down from her Virgin Radio Breakfast Show to pursue other projects.

The former BBC Radio 1 presenter has hosted the programme since the station’s launch in March 2016, and her final show will be on September 29.

Bowman, 43, shared the news across her social media channels, writing: “After a fantastic 18 months hosting the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show, I’ve decided it’s time to move on.

“The team on the show, who I love, have worked their socks off and the other presenters and production staff are a joy to work with.”

She added: “I have a very long list of projects that I want to pursue and there are a few things up my sleeve, with plans being hatched as we speak.”
