The free fAmily fun dAy CeleBrAtes SCots And GAeliC lAnguAge, heritAge, sport And Culture And shines A light on All the kingdom hAs to offer. This yeAr’s ACtivities inClude A Viking BAttle re-enACtment, storytelli­ng, musiC And dAnCe workshops And lAnguAge tAster sessions.

The event is hosted By Fife GAeliC Developmen­t Group, funded through the NAtionAl Lottery And supported By Fife Centre for EquAlities.

Kirsty StrAChAn, Fife CounCil’s GAeliC developmen­t offiCer, sAid: “If the lAst two yeArs Are Anything to go By, this will Be A greAt dAy out, with something for everyone. We Are delighted to Be inCluding shinty this yeAr in pArtnershi­p with ABerdour Shinty CluB. There reAlly is something for everyone.”

The Lomond Centre event is free And will go AheAd regArdless of the weAther.
