Glen­rothes will host the t hird An­nuAl Fèill FhìoBhA (Fes­ti­vAl of Fife) on SAtur­dAy Septem­Ber 30.

The free fAm­ily fun dAy Cel­e­BrAtes SCots And GAeliC lAn­guAge, her­itAge, sport And Cul­ture And shines A light on All the king­dom hAs to of­fer. This yeAr’s AC­tiv­i­ties in­Clude A Vik­ing BAt­tle re-en­ACt­ment, sto­ry­telling, mu­siC And dAnCe work­shops And lAn­guAge tAster ses­sions.

The event is hosted By Fife GAeliC De­vel­op­ment Group, funded through the NA­tionAl Lot­tery And sup­ported By Fife Cen­tre for EquAl­i­ties.

Kirsty StrA­ChAn, Fife Coun­Cil’s GAeliC de­vel­op­ment of­fi­Cer, sAid: “If the lAst two yeArs Are Any­thing to go By, this will Be A greAt dAy out, with some­thing for ev­ery­one. We Are de­lighted to Be in­Clud­ing shinty this yeAr in pArt­ner­ship with ABer­dour Shinty CluB. There re­Ally is some­thing for ev­ery­one.”

The Lomond Cen­tre event is free And will go AheAd re­gArd­less of the weAther.
