Howe in team plea

-

BOSS Eddie Howe has challenged Bournemouth to show their true identity against Brighton to kick-start their Premier League campaign.

The Cherries’ pointless four-match run in the new term has been matched only by Crystal Palace, who this week sacked boss Frank de Boer.

Howe i nsists he can soak up all the Premier L e ag u e ’s “c u t - t h ro a t ” pressure, and backed his players to rediscover their attacking verve when hosting Brighton tonight.

“My biggest concern is the identity of the team, making sure that’s visible to me and everyone else,” said Howe.

“That’s the thing that’s been missing, and what we’re desperate to find.”
