Chris Lawrence was given two minutes for roughing and, on the powerplay, Sylvestre scored his second.

Stars’ Jensen was given two minutes for boarding and Giants’ Darcy Murphy made it 4-0. Jensen and Adam Harding then netted for Stars.

Anthony Mastrodica­sa was sent to the penalty box and Giants again scored on the powerplay through Brendan Connell. With two minutes left, Johan Andersson netted a powerplay goal for Stars.

Jonathan Ferland grabbed another powerplay goal for the hosts with Dundee’s Marc-Oliver Mimar sitting out a two-minute minor for slashing.

John Kurtz added a seventh for Giants before Joey de Concilys scored for Stars.

Fife beat Edinburgh 5-2 on Saturday.
