Super Sam bags a double at Davie Park

IN the North League, Lochee Harp came away with a terrific 2-1 win at Blairgowri­e.

Top scorer Sam McDonald scored both Harp goals with Gordon Norrie pulling one back for Blair inside the final five minutes.

North End kept in touch with the leaders with a 3-0 win at Arbroath Vics. Kieran Sturrock scored all the goals.

Violet still top the table after a fairly comfortabl­e 2-0 victory over Brechin Vics at Glenesk.

The Pansies’ opener came courtesy of an own goal from a Vics defender then Gavin Thomson netted direct from a free-kick to seal the points.

Scone Thistle were comfortabl­e 3-0 winners over visitors Lochore.

A goal from Ross Mitchell in 38 minutes gave them the lead and two goals from Stephen Moon in 58 and 65 minutes added shine to the victory.

Coupar Angus shared four goals with visitors Luncarty.

The hosts took the lead in 15 minutes through Alex Gibb, and Stuart Banks made it 2-0 in 65 minutes.

Luncarty player/boss Jon Kelly came off the bench and pulled one back in the 72nd minute and, with two minutes to go, Neil Ritchie equalised.

East Craigie’s unbeaten run was finally ended after a 1-0 defeat by Kinnoull in Perth. Darren Gray’s goal after just five minutes proved the winner.
