with his defensive ability in his short time at Dens but has popped up with a couple of headers.

One against Raith and the next against Ross County show he’s a threat in the other box.

KERR WADDELL (13 appearances, two goals)

Another centre-back and another threat to the opposition area.

Waddell missed out against Celtic on Saturday despite his double in the previous game that won the points against Hearts.

That match against the Jambos shows how good he is in the air, something Dundee will utilise whenever they possibly can.

ROARIE DEACON (14 appearances, one goal)

He’s shown plenty glimpses of quality and a superb goal at Aberdeen in August but his team need him to up his stats.

Overall as a team, 10 goals in nine league games isn’t bad but the lack of a goalscorer, as it has been in the past, may well be the difference between success and failure.
