Adventurer will share ups and downs with Dundee
TV adventurer Simon Reeve is heading to Dundee as part of his first nationwide tour.
The BBC star has announced he will be speaking at the city’s Whitehall Theatre next year.
Described by the broadcaster as “British television’s most adventurous traveller”, Reeve has become a well-known face with more than 70 programmes under his belt.
Most of those have consisted of travel and adventure which have focused on numerous issues including wildlife and conservation. Reeve’s programmes have taken him across jungles, mountains, deserts and oceans as well as experiencing some of the most beautiful and sometimes dangerous regions of the world.
Viewers have seen him dodge bullets on the frontlines, hunt with the Bushmen of the Kalahari, dive with manta rays and walk through minefields.
And Dundonians will be able to hear the stories behind those adventures and much more when Reeve hits the City of Discovery.
This is the first-time Reeve will tell stories on stage from his adventures and his 15-plus years on TV.
His one-man show will feature the best and worst moments of his career as well as exclusive multimedia footage and a 20-minute question and answer session.
The show takes place on Wednesday October 10 2018.
Tickets are available from the Dundee Box Office on 01382 434940.
