Trio of matches in Ireland
ON the international hockey scene, the Scottish Ladies squad are playing three games in Ireland. They drew the opener 1-1 at the weekend.
Cameron Golden (Grove Menzieshill) and Callum Mackenzie (Grange) are playing in the GB U/21s at the Sultan of Johor Cup in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
They opened with a 1-0 victory over Malaysia with Duncan Scott scoring in the 49th minute in a game played in very high temperatures.
They beat the US 11-0 in their second game with Cameron netting twice.
The Ladies Indoor European Cup is being hosted by Dundee Wanderers at DISC from February 23-25.

In the Scottish Cup second round and Plate first round for men and women, there were 120 teams involved in the five cups and five plates.
Scores included — Men’s Scottish Cup — Grange I 22 Monarchs I 1, GroveMenzieshill I 4 Uddingston I 4 (Menzieshill won 3-2 on penalties), Highland I 0 Dundee Wanderers I 7, St Andrews University I 1 Inverleith I 4.
Men’s District Cup — Dundee Wanderers II 3 Kelburne II 4, Perthshire II 1 Fidra Lions 3.
Men’s District Plate — Glasgow University II 1 Grove-Menzieshill II 1 (Glasgow University won on penalties).
Men’s Reserve Cup — Grove-Menzieshill III wo v AGSFP III, Watsonians III 3 Dundee Wanderers III 0.
Ladies Scottish Cup — Western Wildcats I 6 Dundee University I 0, Glasgow University I 3 Dundee Wanderers I 1.
Ladies District Cup — Edinburgh University V 2 Monarchs I 1.
