Kamara: Dark the wins their

- By TOM DUTHIE

MIDFIELDER Glen Kamara can’t recall playing in a game where his team dominated as much as Dundee did at Partick Thistle on Saturday and ending up on the losing side.

Frustrating as that was, the former Arsenal kid is not dwelling on it and his focus now is on making sure the Dark Blues repeat the general performance and make sure it leads to victory when Motherwell visit tomorrow.

“We definitely deserved the three points at Partick and we’ve created enough chances to win maybe two games if you want to put it like that, so we were very disappointed,” said the Finnish international.

“It terms of football, it was definitely one of our best performances the way we passed the ball. We’d been working on it in training and we passed well, kept the ball and created chances with it.

“I think a lot of it came from the performance at Celtic last week as well. We took confidence from it and we kept it going. I couldn’t believe we didn’t come away with a win.

“It was disappointing but we have to keep it going, stick to what we know and keep passing the ball. We go again against Motherwell now and we know if we keep playing like that we will win games.

“We won’t feel sorry for ourselves. We will look back at what we did wrong as a team and we will work on that.

“But what we are doing now is gearing up for tomorrow.

“It’s good the next game is coming so quickly because we can rectify the situation and put things right straight away.”

With an international break followed by two games on the road, tomorrow night will be Dundee’s first home game of the month and Kamara is looking forward to getting back out at Dens Park.

That news should hardly come as a surprise given the last three Premiership games there have yielded seven of the eight points Neil McCann’s men have picked up so far.

His summer signing won’t be underestimating the Steelmen but sees no reason why another win can’t be chalked up — if the finishing touch is applied to the weekend’s good approach play.

“It’s great to be back at home because we have been having good results there. We’ve had a couple of away games in a row and it will be nice to be back at Dens, we’re looking forward to it.
