Finn Kamara on changing
MIDFIELDER Glen Kamara says his focus is 100% on Dundee despite being in his home country bidding to make his debut on the international stage.
The Finn has been called up to head coach Markku Kanerva’s squad for a friendly against Estonia in Helsinki tomorrow and is vying for his first cap.
However, the 22-year-old won’t be allowing an international debut to distract him from helping the Dark Blues get themselves up the Premiership table.
He headed off to his homeland with his club side sitting rock bottom of the division and is determined to do everything he can to change that situation on his return to domestic action.
He said: “Dundee come first, definitely. All my focus is on Dundee and bringing the club forward.
“Hopefully, I can do enough to get some game time over there but Dundee is my priority.”
Kamara, whose parents hail from Sierra Leone, was born and lived in Finland until the age of 12 before moving to join Arsenal’s youth academy.
He considers himself Finnish and has represented his country at both U/19 and U/21 level.
He turned out for the U/21s 12 times and was an unused substitute for the senior squad for last month’s qualifying double header against Croatia and Turkey.

And finishing off the section with two draws has boosted the confidence of a national side that has struggled in recent years.
He said: “I didn’t get on in the two games but we drew both against good teams, Turkey and Croatia.
“People probably didn’t expect those results but we have good players in that team and a good manager.
“I enjoyed it, it’s always a pleasure and honour to be called up. I’m always looking forward to it.
“It’s a test against different players from all around Europe and it’s really
