Csaba a perfect fit at Tannadice
NEW Dundee United boss Csaba Laszlo has all the right attributes t o t ake Dundee United back to the Premiership.
That’s t he verdict of former Dundee striker Christian Nade, who played under Laszlo at Hearts, with the capital side finishing third while the Hungarian picked up the Manager of the Year award in his only full season with the Tynecastle club.
The 33-year-old attacker, now at Dumbarton, believes his former gaffer i s the perfect fit for the Tannadice outfit.
He also suggested Laszlo is good enough to take the reins at any club in the top flight.
Nade said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if he made Dundee United a better team than they already are.
“I don’t believe he is just the right fit for Dundee United — he could manage any Scottish team to be fair.”
The French attacker also feels the Tangerines players will enjoy working under Laszlo.
He continued: “Csaba’s a really, really good coach, attentive with details and, tactically, he’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever had.
“He isn’t just a good coach but a nice human being, he’s a really good guy as well, he understands his players.”
It’s expected Laurie Ellis, who has impressed in a caretaker role since the departure of Ray McKinnon last month, will be staying on to assist the 53-year-old, who was last in charge of Dunajska Streda in his native Hungary.
The new manager’s first match in charge will be against Northern Irish outfit Crusaders in the Irn-Bru Cup quar ter-finals on Saturday, with Dundee United looking to defend the trophy.
