Camper trio’s 16,000 miles
UNIVERSITY of Dundee graduate Laura Geyer ditched the usual nine-to-five life for one on the road — and has shown no signs of stopping since graduating in May.
Laura, who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, has almost travelled the same distance as university rector Mark Beaumont did in his recent record-breaking cycle around the world. With her partner Adam Browne and their dog Angus, the intrepid trio have almost 16,000 miles under their seatbelts after they ditched the idea of a gap year for a gap life in their fully kitted-out VW camper “Yellow Matilda” — using skills they developed at Dundee to work wherever the road takes them.
