Remembering do’s and dont’s is so essential
JENI’S “must do” list before an interview includes the following.
Research the job role and the company, dress appropriately, be polite and formal during the interview.
Match your skills and experiences to the criteria in the job description and person specification and be positive about your skills and abilities to do a good job.
It looks good to ask questions about the job, training opportunities and future company growth.
And the “must not dos” include the following: absolutely do not be late, chew gum, slouch or fidget.
Make sure your phone is off, don’t criticise previous employers or colleagues — and keep away from religion or politics.
Follow this advice — and good luck to you!
