Charity seeks new volunteers

CHEST Heart & Stroke Scotland is appealing for volunteers i n Angus to help offer new rehabilitation services which provide advice, suppor t and practical help t o people to get their lives back on track following a stroke.

Volunteer recruitment coordinator Vivienne Brown said: “We rely on the help of local volunteers to provide this vital support.

“We are looking for volunteers across Angus to help support people to regain their confidence and re-establish the skills needed for everyday conversations and everyday activities.

“As a volunteer, people help to rebuild someone’s confidence at what can be a very emotional time in their recovery journey and are also doing something rewarding and worthwhile.”
